This is for those that feel the call of the earth.
The whispers of a new way and a new world.
Those who know their calling is in service and who walk this path now as guides, medicine people, healers and therapists. This is for those who want to deepen into their purpose and knowing of self. This is for those who want to connect with their ancestors and their medicine within. This is an opportunity to bring our medicine, our wisdom together .. to unite to heal, grow and expand, together. The prophecies are calling for us to be in action.
You know if this is you.
You are the modern medicine person. You are here to bridge the old and new - technology with wisdom, science with spirit.

The vision …
To create a collective of individuals with a shared mission that bridges Mexico and the US through experiences, shared knowledge and community.
To connect wisdom and the medicine people of our countries so that we may support and accelerate our movement towards consciousness and awakening through creativity and designing new ways of being, living and thriving. A pathway to freedom.
Join me on as we take these first steps towards building vision for the future.
500 years ago, the Aztec Empire fell to the Spaniards and with it, much of the culture and traditions. However, the wisdom, calendar, ceremonies, the heart of the culture went underground and was held in story and songs, passed through the centuries. This heart is now emerging, full of wisdom and energy, and ready to be shared.
This gathering is a joining of medicine people from around the world to share our knowledge and to learn from the earth in Oaxaca and the traditions held here.
We will start the week prior with an online session where Raquel will read your chart according to the Aztec calendar. There are twenty days in the calendar and your day will determine your essence, your purpose and how you engage with the world. They believe deeply that we all have our own way in which we show up in this world, and if together we can fall into this nature, it will create homeostasis, growth and balance within relationships and communities. And of course, it is also deeply healing when we embrace our truest expression.
This initial 'essence' will be what you can bring into the week in Oaxaca, exploring from this perspective your nature, being and purpose.
Each day (5 total) will be woven with information, traditions and ceremony. This experience is designed to expose you to traditions and practices held by the Aztec and Zapotec populations here with intent for you to explore what feels authentic and desiring to emerge. It's a beautiful curation of ceremony, elements, and directions. We will also build a temazcal for our ceremony and learn to work traditionally with the fire to cleanse and clear.
These practices are designed to help you tune into yourself, listen deeply and as a result, over time, develop a deep trust of self. It is this trust that will make you unwavering as you step towards what you desire in life.
The land that we will be gathering on has been stewarded by Raquel’s family for generations. It is brimming with life; cacao, coffee, mangos and wild vanilla to name a few. Water runs freely and the earth truly does provide everything that we need when in balance. There is something about being within this presence of balance and abundance, that nourishes the human deeply. It is an honor to be working with this land.

CACAO - Medicine of the Heart
Cacao
Cacao has long been revered as the medicine of the heart, helping individuals, families and communities connect with their own heart and all that surrounds them. It is not uncommon for communities to have multi-day all night ceremonies dancing, celebrating and giving gratitude for this plant and seed. It supports in healing physically, emotionally and spiritually. Cacao is a powerful tool to help us listen to our heart, to help us attune to our inner voice and ground us into what is. It too, is bitter and sweet, just as life is. It helps us to remember to be available to all that life is so that we may find our healing path and every day find a space to open our hearts further, connects us to our dreams and create a deep an intimate relationship with self, other and our earth. Cacao was an intrinsic and key step to my healing journey and thrilled to be able to share this with you.
TEMAZCAL - Purification of Mind, Body, Soul
Temazcal
Temazcal is the tradition sweat lodge used for centuries in many cultures and is said to originate in S America. The Temazcal is a round sweat lodge that can be made from bamboo or stone. It represents the womb of the mother and helps to purify the body from toxins, but also the mind and soul. The stones used in the center represent the grandmothers of years past whom bring their wisdom into the space. This has been one of the most powerful practices, allowing us to work with the medicine of fire, water and air. The temperature inside the Temazcal can be very hot but will be adjusted to the needs of those attending to create a transformational experience.
Please meet Raquel and Julio …
Raquel is of Zapotec descent and has transitioned into her role as a medicine woman under the guidance of her Grandfather after being an engineer. Her unique perspective is what attracted me to working with her.
Julio has a Bachelor of Computer Science from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, an Instructor of certified face-to-face group courses and a specialist in emotional intelligence for children and young people. He is a promoter of social projects in various municipalities of Oaxaca, Chiapas and CDMX.
They believe deeply in empowering the individual and that at this time, our roles are to unite and share information so to contribute to the shift in consciousness.
The property is 45 minutes from Puerto Escondido and is home to cacao, coffee and plantains. The mountain tops provide views of the valley and the river a spot to refresh your soul.
This is me ..
a medicine women who is remembering. A woman, a daughter, a sister and a mother. A child of the earth and a bearer of wisdom. I am here to help create a new world with you. To hold the vision of what is possible in a time of chaos and confusion. To hold the knowing that we are in transformation and as such, it will feel dark. To hold the space that transformation is our pathway to freedom and that this is why I came here. It is my honor.
